Can't turn off VMware VM

Postby guest » Fri May 31, 2013 2:49 pm

Situation: The client can'r login Windows 7 running as VM on VMware host. Turn off feature in vSphere client doesn't work.

Resolution: yo umay have two options:

1. do this from the host's shell:

ps axu | grep name_of_the_faulty_VM
kill -9 above_found_PID

2. Migrate all the other vms off the host and reboot the host.
