How to add printer 32bit driver to a windows 64bit server

•Logon to a 32bit workstation
•Map the network printer (\\PrintServer\PrinterName)
•Now you will be asked for the 32bit driver files
•The new printer will be added to the local printer list
•Right click on the printer name and select "Printer Properties"
•Select the "Sharing" tab
•Click on "Additional Drivers"
•Check the 32bit Operating System
•Again you'll be asked to provide the path for the 32bit driver files
•The system will copy the driver to the print server
•Repeat this procedure for every printer (which you want to map to a 32bit client)

In most cases, you should find a universal driver.

it only works if the name of the x86 (32-bit) driver is EXACTLY the same as the name of the 64-bit driver.
