How to use hosts file to block a website

1. Be logged in as a privileged user.
2. Open a DOS command window, type:
notepad C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
3. Put the following line in hosts:
127.0.0.1 www.block.com
4. File > Save.
5. Test it.
