Setup DHCP for a modem without DHCP feature.

Postby guest » Mon Oct 31, 2011 2:33 pm

Q: We have 11 public IP addresses from our ISP. WBBM will come here to use one of IP address without firewall, but the device uses DHCP only and our modem doesn't have DHCP feature. How can we do?

A: You may add a router between the modem and the device and make sure disable the firewall or setup DMZ. Another option is setup a Windows DHCP server if you have stand-alone server.
