Unable to switch SQL to single user mode to restore database

Situation: the user had an error trying to do a restore of all databases using Symantec Backup Exec: Getting error: Unable to switch SQL server to single user mode to restore database.

Resolution: advised Master must be done on its own or don't restore the Master database with database restore.
