Cannot use the special principal sa with SQL Error 15405 - Resolution with screenshots

Situation: When attempting to login SQL Management Studio, you may receive this message: Cannot use the special principal sa

Troubleshooting: sa account is disabled with red narrow down key.

To enable it, open SQL Management Studio, and expand "Security" then "Logins", and then right click "sa" and select "Properties. Then go to "Status" and make sure "Grant" and "Enabled" are checked.
