Troubleshooting: In most cases, this id DNS or FQDN issue. Make sure that the FQDN is not correctly set in you exchange server.

1. Open Exchange System Manager.

2. Navigate to Administrative Group>DomainName>Servers>ServerName>Protocol>SMTP.

3. In the right pan, right click on Default SMTP Virtual Server and select Properties.

4. Click on Delivery and then Advanced.

5. In our case, the FQDN is local server sbs2003.chicagotech.local.

6. Run nslookup and set type=mx. Type chiagotech.net to check the MX record which is sbs2000.chicagotech.net.
