The Outlook keeps asking for entering credentials - Resolution with screenshots

Symptoms: 1. The Outlook keeps asking for entering credentials. After you enter correct credentials, it still popup.

2. You may see the Outlook icon with yellow exclamation.

3. On the bottom of the outlook, you will a message saying: “Need Password”.

Resolution: 1. Reboot the user’s computer or run ipconfig /flushdns.
2. Click cancel on the Outlook login screen.
3. If above 1 and 2 don’t work, please the user to use OWA instead Outlook until we fix the problem.
4. In our case, we have Exchange cluster on two hosts. When we migrated Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010, only one Exchange mail server can hold Public Folder. Whenever the Exchange server holds the Public Folder is download, the Outlook can't access the Public Folder and it keep popup for the password. Resolution is remove the public Folder to SharePoint.
