Event ID 1503, 1507 and 1805

A System error has occurred while processing your request

Unable to connect to your mailbox on server Servername

Synchronization failed due to an error on the server. Try again. Error code: HTTP_500

Symptoms: 1. An Outlook Mobile Access user receive the following error messages:

A System error has occurred while processing your request

A system error has occurred, please see your system administrator

Unable to connect to your mailbox on server Servername

Synchronization failed due to an error on the server. Try again. Error code: HTTP_500.

2. Some or one of the following events may appear in the Application log on the Exchange Server 2003 computer:

Event ID: 1507
Description: An unknown error occurred while processing the current request: Exception of type Microsoft.Exchange.OMA.DataProviderInterface.ProviderException was thrown.
 
Event ID: 1503
Computer: servername
Description: An unknown error occurred while processing the current request: Exception of type System.OutOfMemoryException was thrown.

Event ID: 1805
Description: Request from user UserA@domain.com resulted in the Microsoft(R) Exchange back-end server <ServerName> returning an HTTP error with status code 403:Forbidden

Resolutions:

1. Have the user reset the mobile device.

2. Edit the web.config File in the “\Program Files\Exchsrvr\OMA\Browse” directory and search for a line:

<sessionState mode="InProc"/>

Then add the following line in a new line above this line:

<pages enableSessionState="true"/>.

Obtain and install the hotfix that is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
