It takes 30 minutes to show up the server share

Q: Network:
DC: 2 Win2000 sp4 in different locations w/ different DHCP scopes set up.
DC1: 192.168.1.xxx, DC2:192.168.2.xxx

2 Win2003 runnig the IP-telephony

I have a couple of users that takes their laptops out of office and connect
to the network by VPN.

Now they have problems accessing the server share of the DC in the domain.
The problem never occurs in the office, and they can access the other
servers. They have both XP and 200 clients, same prob.
The connect to the network at the 192.168.2.xxx site.

The thing is, in about 30 minutes or more, the server share suddenly shows
up!

Anyone have any suggestions?

A: sounds like master browser issues and it may take 15 to 30 minutes. to
confirm that, try to map the drives using ip instead of the hostname.
