Q: Can't see local LAN after established VPN

I have made a VPN connection between my home PC (Windows XP Home Edition) and my office workstation (Windows XP Professional Edition). I am connected (from office to home), but I don't see my office workstation anywhere.  How do I find it?

A: You either need a static route, or you can try clearing the check box for Use default gateway on remote network in TCP/IP Advanced properties in the VPN connection on your home PC.
