Workstation Service Issues

If a computer doesn’t have workstation service running and installed, you may have the following symptoms:

1. When mapping a network drive, you may receive this error “The drive could not be mapped because no network was found”.

2. When using net view \\computer or net use \\IP, you may receive this message: “System error 67. The network name cannot be found”

3. The vent Viewer may have “Event ID: 3095 - Source: NETLOGON - This Windows NT computer is configured as a member of a workgroup, not as a member of a domain. The Netlogon service does not need to run in this configuration” logged.
